Cascadia Training’s Spring Line-Up of BRAND-NEW Workshops…Plus…a sneak peak into Brian’s spring adventures!

We hope you all had a chance to take some time off either via a staycation or a vacation away for Spring Break!

Many of you know that our fun and fearless leader, Brian, turned 60 in February…and he’s living it up during his BIRTHDAY YEAR, including a couple of very well-deserved Spring Break trips!

Brian’s got moves!

Brian’s parents go out dancing often so when he’s in Mexico, he turns out too! Here he is dancing with his beautiful mother, Barbara!

He just got back from Mexico visiting his parents where he “worked” poolside and danced the nights away!

Working remotely is the best!

Brian DOES actually work A LOT, even when traveling and we tell him not to! But we think working poolside in Mexico with a Bloody Mary is possibly the best way to work remotely!

Now he’s in Tennessee as he and several of his closest friends continue their 60th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS all year long! He’s having fun dancing, eating, drinking, and enjoying time with his friends…and, uh, other beings!

Okay, back to work…with even MORE to CELEBRATE!

Did you know that April happens to be ALL about mental health? April is National Counseling Awareness Month, Stress Awareness Month, Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and National Minority Health Month (MORE ON THOSE BELOW!)

Join us as we celebrate April, counselors, and mental health and register for one (or more!) workshops. Here are some spring workshops we’re VERY excited about:

All of our upcoming workshops in our latest newsletter here: https://conta.cc/3MGbJ5Z!

NEWS YOU CAN USE!

  • Thanks to all of you who purchased registrations in February 2023, we were able to donate almost $5,000 to Atlantic Street Center and Mental Health Liberation in honor of Black History Month! READ MORE HERE!
  • Have you checked out ConstantEdu lately? We have several new recorded workshops you can take at your own pace, at a discounted rate, and still earn the same number of CEs. CHECK IT OUT!
  • If you live in King County, WA, please vote YES on Proposition 1 by April 25th! The proposition, called the Crisis Care Centers Levy, will allocate funding for mental health resources in King County. It would provide five walk-in urgent care facilities around the county, including one specifically for youth. It would add about 100 residential treatment beds where people stay before moving to permanent housing. And it would improve career opportunities for behavioral care workers. MORE INFO HERE

We’re looking forward to seeing you all at a workshop or many soon!

Happy Spring,

Brian, Sally, Melody, Bethanie, Bob, and the Entire Cascadia Crew

Happy National Counseling Awareness Month

Mental health takes the spotlight in April, with various observances to raise awareness and promote well-being. This month, we celebrate National Counseling Awareness Month, Stress Awareness Month, and National Minority Health Month.

At Cascadia, we recognize the vital role of counselors and the benefits of counseling for various concerns. To learn more about counseling, visit the resources below:
