Neha Chawla, PhD, is a co-creator of Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP) and coauthor of Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention for Addictive Behaviors.
Dr. Chawla writes, consults, and provides training in MBRP in the US and abroad. She is the founder and director of the Seattle Mindfulness Center and maintains a private psychotherapy practice. In her practice, Chawla provides empirically supported mindfulness and acceptance-based treatments and facilitates MBRP groups. Additionally, Chawla is involved with the continued development and evaluation of mindfulness-based treatments, as well research on issues related to therapist training and competence. She is also clinical instructor at the University of Washington, providing supervision to psychology graduate students.
