Angela Tucker is a Black transracial adoptee, author of “You Should Be Grateful: Stories of Race, Identity, and Transracial Adoption (Beacon Press, 2023), and is the founder and CEO of the Adoptee Mentoring Society. She has consulted for television, film, and Broadway productions, including This Is Us and Jagged Little Pill, and is an internationally recognized speaker on adoption, identity, race, and belonging. Through her work, Angela helps organizations, families, and professionals better understand adoptees’ lifelong experiences while advancing adoptee-centered practice.
