Leah Post, MSW, MPH, LICSW

Leah Post (she/they) is a clinical social worker, educator, and trainer with over 15 years of experience in community mental health, public health, and clinical supervision. She is the founder of Perfectly Queer Counseling, a small group practice in Washington State that provides LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy, supervision, consultation, and professional development support.

In addition to her work in private practice, Leah has extensive experience creating, transforming, and leading programs focused on HIV and STI prevention, sexual health education, and trauma-informed care for underserved communities. Their clinical work and supervision style are rooted in social justice, relational ethics, and an awareness of how systems of power impact both clients and clinicians.

Leah holds Master’s degrees in Social Work and Public Health from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. She currently serves as a field liaison at Seattle University’s School of Social Work as well as a part-time lecturer at the University of Washington School of Social Work, where she teaches courses in clinical practice. In both academic and professional settings, Leah is committed to supporting the development of emerging social workers through mentorship, inclusive pedagogy, and critical dialogue around power and privilege in clinical work.

Leah regularly facilitates professional development trainings for therapists, supervisors, and organizations, and her trainings are known for being interactive, reflective, and grounded in real-world application. Whether working with students, clinicians, or community partners, Leah brings warmth, clarity, and a strong commitment to equity in all aspects of her work.
