SoulCollage® is an experiential, creative, and intuitive process that involves creating collage-based 5×8 cards and intuiting the meaning of the new image created from those used to make the collage. The SoulCollage® Method pairs well with therapy, as it is inherently creative and therapeutic, helping clinicians and their clients understand, reframe, and become more aware of their life experiences. Soulcollage® is a wonderful way to connect with your creative side and inner wisdom, get to know yourself as a person and clinician, and assist your clients in knowing themselves better.

This workshop will explore using the SoulCollage® process in therapy for individuals, couples, and groups. SoulCollage® encourages the emergence of unconscious, unconsidered insights and content that often hold the key to increased healing. This method is particularly useful with undefined and psychospiritual client content, offering meaning and guidance through intuition and imagination.

Upon completion of this workshop, participants will have a greater understanding of SoulCollage® Principles and Ethics, hands-on experience creating and reading cards using the SoulCollage® process/method, and confidence and hands-on experience facilitating and witnessing the SoulCollage® process. In addition, participants will have gained a powerful new method for self-discovery, reflection, and pre-/post-session introspection.

Objectives:

• Learn how SoulCollage® came to be and how it can benefit you, your clients, and your therapeutic sessions.

• Explore the ethics of using and sourcing images, using SoulCollage® with clients, and why one might want to take a SoulCollage® Facilitator Training (not required).

• Learn therapeutic uses of SoulCollage®, imagery and meaning making.

• Learn numerous ways to incorporate SoulCollage® into practice, including what is needed to create cards in session.

• Practice the creation and reading process inherent in SoulCollage®.

• Practice guiding another person through the meaning-making process during this experiential workshop.
