Continuing Education Workshop Description:
The inner child represents the vulnerable, creative, and often wounded parts of ourselves shaped by early experiences.
This continuing education workshop introduces psychotherapists to the fundamentals of inner child work, exploring how early relational patterns, unmet needs, and childhood experiences influence adult emotions, behaviors, and relationships. Participants will learn how to recognize signs of inner child wounds and understand their impact on clientsβ current functioning.
Attendees will explore practical strategies to help clients connect with, nurture, and heal their inner child. Therapists will leave with tools to integrate inner child work into therapy, fostering self-compassion, resilience, and emotional integration for lasting growth and transformation.
Continuing Education Workshop Objectives:
- Develop an understanding of the concept of the inner child and its influence on adult emotions, behaviors, and relationships.
- Learn strategies to help clients recognize, connect with, and nurture their inner child.
- Identify interventions to support emotional integration, self-compassion, and healing through inner child work.
