In this lively, hands-on workshop, clinicians will learn how to attract ideal clients in ways that feel authentic, ethical, and aligned with their professional values. Forget cookie-cutter marketing advice — this training helps you clarify your niche, communicate your unique therapeutic voice, and create a sustainable marketing strategy that feels genuine, not salesy. Through practical exercises, real-world examples, and reflection on mindset blocks around visibility, participants will leave feeling confident, empowered, and ready to let their practice thrive.
Workshop Objectives:
Participants will learn how to:
- Articulate how ethical marketing practices support beneficence by reducing client harm through accurate representation of services, scope of practice, and areas of competence.
- Examine the relationship between therapist visibility and justice, including how clear, accessible marketing can reduce barriers to care and improve access for marginalized or underserved communities.
- Apply principles of informed consent to pre-treatment communications, including website content, fee disclosures, and service descriptions, in order to promote client autonomy and informed decision-making prior to initial contact.
