ADHD can make attention, emotional regulation, and impulse control challenging for many clients, yet mindfulness offers practical tools to enhance focus, self-awareness, and emotional balance. This training introduces psychotherapists to evidence-informed mindfulness strategies tailored for clients with ADHD.

Participants will explore how mindful awareness, grounding techniques, and present-moment focus can support attention regulation, reduce stress, and improve daily functioning. Through experiential exercises and discussion, attendees will learn how to integrate mindfulness practices into therapy sessions in ways that are engaging, accessible, and developmentally appropriate.

Therapists will leave with practical tools to help clients cultivate focus, strengthen self-regulation, and harness mindfulness as a resource for managing ADHD-related challenges.

Workshop Objectives:

  • Develop an understanding of how ADHD impacts attention, emotional regulation, and executive functioning, and how mindfulness can support these areas.
  • Learn practical mindfulness-based strategies tailored to clients with ADHD for improving focus and self-regulation.
  • Identify ways to integrate mindfulness practices into therapy sessions to enhance client engagement, attention, and emotional balance.
