Living as a neurodivergent person in today’s capitalist society means that it is harder than ever to avoid burnout. Given the nature of the work done by mental health professionals, AuDHD clinicians have even more to monitor regarding their own burnout. This workshop will explore how to recognize patterns of burnout among AuDHD clinicians and use supports to affirm and support them in non-oppressive ways.
WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES:
After this course, attendees will:
- Learn how ND burnout can present in phases
- Address the normalization of burnout and the support needed to offset it
- Practice mapping personal burnout profile
