Description

This three-hour workshop offers an exploration of the legal and ethical dimensions of psychedelic-assisted therapy (PAT) and a comprehensive overview of the evolving legal and ethical landscape of psychedelic substances used in therapeutic settings.  Participants will gain an understanding of the historical context, current legal status, and regulatory frameworks governing the use of psychedelics in therapy. The course will cover key ethical considerations, including informed consent, patient safety, and potential exposure to liability relating to state and federal controlled substance laws.
