SUMMARY:Love What Hurts
DESCRIPTION:Back by Popular Demand!\nLove What Hurts\nPresented by: Lisha Song\, LMHC\nWhen: Friday\, May 8th\, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM\, Pacific Time\nWhere: Live on Zoom. You will receive your Zoom link/invitation the week of the workshop.\nContinuing Education Credit Hours: 6 CEs |$190.00\nIn this workshop\, attendees will learn how to notice where emotions are felt in the body from an observer’s point of view\, recognize negative beliefs that are attached to these emotions (i.e.\, “I’m not good enough”)\, and identify the past events/experiences that are related to these emotions. Attendees will also learn how to neutralize these emotions and negative cognitions through an ego-state practice called the “Clearing Exercise.” \nClinicians who attend will learn techniques to enhance positive feelings\, sensations\, or beliefs through bilateral stimulation (tapping). \nBy the end of this one-day training\, you will be able to teach your clients these skills\, so they can experience self-compassion and clarity of thought\, and learn to follow their own inner guidance to make better decisions.  \nWORKSHOP OBJECTIVES: \n\nUnderstanding how the body stores past emotional wounding and traumatic experiences\, noticing where those emotions are felt specifically in the body by becoming an “observer” of the experience\, and learning how to neutralize those feelings and sensations.\n Exercising the power of imagination or a “felt sense” and befriending those wounded parts of Self\, and learn how to nurture those parts.\nUnderstanding our ever-sophisticated nervous system through the lens of the Polyvagal Theory and utilizing its tools to further our management of it.\nRecognizing how negative beliefs about the self manifest over time and become part of our identity.\nLearning to awaken the unconscious through the “sixth sense” of intuition and spiritual connection\, and adopt more trust in your own inner knowing. When nervous systems are hijacked by emotional triggers\, we tend not to trust our intuition.\nFeeling more empowered and compassionate when triggers from past experiences hijack the nervous system by practicing Lisha’s Clearing Exercise and teaching it to clients.\n\nREGISTER HERE\n  \n

SUMMARY:🆕 BRAND-NEW! CBT Strategies for Suicidal Clients 🆕
DESCRIPTION:Brand-New!\nCognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Strategies for Suicidal Clients\nPresented by: Diane Bigler\, LCSW\, LSCSW\nWhen: Thursday\, May 28th\, 2026| 9:00 AM – 12:15 PM\, Pacific Time\nWhere: Live on Zoom. You will receive your Zoom link/invitation the week of the workshop.\nContinuing Education Credit Hours: 3 CEs | $95.00 \nNOTE: This workshop does NOT meet the Department of Health suicide assessment CE requirements.\nCognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches offer effective support and intervention for suicidal clients. Participants will learn the core tenets of the CBT model as it applies specifically to suicidal thinking and behavior\, including how cognitive distortions\, emotional dysregulation\, and behavioral avoidance contribute to acute risk. \nThrough lecture\, case examples\, and guided practice\, the course demonstrates how clinicians can use CBT’s structured\, collaborative\, and transparent framework to better understand the drivers of suicidality and create targeted\, individualized treatment plans. \nThe course also explores the concept of the “suicide mode\,” helping therapists recognize the cognitive\, affective\, physiological\, and behavioral patterns that become activated during moments of heightened risk. Participants will be introduced to at least five CBT-oriented intervention methods—including cognitive restructuring\, behavioral activation\, problem-solving training\, safety planning\, and distress-management skills—that directly support clients in reducing suicidal urges and increasing coping capacity. \nWorkshop Objectives:\n\nIdentify at least four core tenets of the CBT model and the conceptualization of suicide.\nDescribe key cognitive and behavioral factors that emerge during activation of the suicide mode.\nExplain at least five CBT-oriented methods of providing suicide intervention to clients.\n\nREGISTER HERE\n  \n
