SUMMARY:🆕 Brand-New! The Major Arcana and the Hero’s Journey: Discovering Your Story Through Tarot 🆕
DESCRIPTION:Brand-New!\nMeets Law & Ethics\, Health Equity\, or Cultural Competence Continuing Education Requirements!\nThe Major Arcana and the Hero’s Journey: Discovering Your Story Through Tarot\nPresented by Rebecca Bloom\, LMHC (she/her)\nWhen: Friday\, July 17th\, 2026 | 9:00 am – 4:30 pm Pacific Time\nWhere: Live on Zoom. You will receive your Zoom link/invitation the week of the workshop.\nContinuing Education Credit Hours: 6 CEs (meets criteria for 2 Law & Ethics and 2 Health Equity or Cultural Competence CEs) | Cost: $199.00\nEvery person is on a journey — one of becoming\, healing\, and finding meaning. The Major Arcana of the Tarot offers a beautiful reflection of this path. These 22 cards tell the story of the Hero’s Journey: the universal process of growth and transformation that mirrors each of our lives. Jung’s model of the hero’s journey is a path that clients can easily relate to in their own lives. In this workshop\, you’ll explore how the Tarot can help clients connect with their path through difficult times. \nThe Major Arcana begins with The Fool\, who takes a leap of faith into the unknown\, and ends with The World\, symbolizing a completed journey. Between these two cards lies the full range of human experience — discovery\, love\, loss\, challenge\, renewal\, and awakening. Each card helps clients reflect on how they learn\, heal\, and grow. \nWorking with these archetypes can help clients who recognize that the transformation is possible and that setbacks are part of the journey. Perhaps you are navigating a “Tower” moment of upheaval\, meeting your “Shadow” in The Devil\, or beginning a new chapter as The Fool once more. Through the imagery of the Tarot\, you will help clients to see their story not as fragmented or confusing\, but as meaningful — a necessary part of an unfolding journey toward wholeness. \nDuring this experiential workshop\, you’ll be guided through meditations\, creative exercises\, and creating Tarot cards. \nTarot\, when used in this way\, is not about prediction; it’s about reflection. It’s a way of accessing unconscious wisdom — the part of you that already knows what healing and integration look like. Jung described this process as individuation: the journey of becoming your fullest\, most authentic self. \nThrough the language of the Major Arcana\, you can learn to trust this inner process\, honor the changes you’re experiencing\, and view your challenges as meaningful steps along your path. Whether you are seeking clarity\, self-compassion\, or a deeper sense of purpose\, the Tarot offers a gentle\, creative way to reconnect with your own story — the myth you are living and the hero you are becoming. \nWorkshop Objectives:\n\nRecognize how the Hero’s Journey helps clients on their healing journey\nUnderstand the lessons of the major arcana through a therapeutic lens\nGain confidence in using tarot in clinical settings.\nHelping clients reconnect with intuition\, purpose\, and inner guidance\nExplore art making for self-care\n\nREGISTER HERE\n  \n

SUMMARY:🆕 BRAND-NEW! Un-Masking Certificate Series: A Non-Pathologizing Approach to Neurodivergence 🆕
DESCRIPTION:Brand-New Certificate Series!\nHealth Equity\, Cultural Competence\, and/or Law & Ethics CEs!\nUn-Masking Certificate Series: A Non-Pathologizing Approach to Neurodivergence\nPresented by: Hannah Smith\, MA\, LMHC\, CGP\nWhen: Monday\, November 4th – Monday\, November 30th\, 2026 | 4-Week Series | Meets Four Consecutive Mondays except Monday\, November 16th | 9:00 am – 12:15 pm Pacific Time (same time each Monday)\nWhere: Live on Zoom. You will receive your Zoom link/invitation the week of the workshop.\nContinuing Education Credit Hours (NBCC and NASW-WA Approved): 12 CEs – all count as Health Equity or Cultural Competence; 3 count as Law & Ethics | $499.00 ***see below for payment options\nCONTINUING EDUCATION WORKSHOP SERIES DESCRIPTION:\nIf you are in the mental health field and have not had a neurodivergent (ND) client\, you will. \nThis can be daunting to clinicians working within the medical model for several reasons. One may not know if a client is neurodivergent (ND). As ND people often do not see themselves as needing to be “fixed\,” they may not feel certain treatment approaches and/or vocabulary apply to them – and yet they are in our offices seeking help. Many self-diagnose\, and there are as many presentations of neurodivergence as there are neurodivergent people. How do we conceptualize working with this population? \nOne approach is to de-center the neurotypical classification of behavior as the primary issue and focus treatment instead on the identification and remediation of associated trauma. Sadly\, trauma and Neurodivergence often go together\, and one of the primary results of this is masking. \nMasking is the compensatory strategy many ND people develop to manage social expectations. This skill initially allows them to “fit in” better. Over the long term\, though\, the masking takes a huge toll and most often results in extreme mental and emotional fatigue\, chronic and extreme emotional dysregulation\, exacerbated learning difficulties\, and frightening and isolating trauma responses. \nIn this in-depth continuing education certificate series\, the presenter will discuss what it means to be non-pathologizing in more depth\, demonstrating the need to expand beyond the medical model. Social justice aspects of neurodivergence will be explored\, and a tool that enables a better conceptualization of self than the current “diagnosis” model will be taught and practiced. Then\, several methods to streamline addressing various neurodivergent differences will be shared and applied to case situations and in-session work groups. \nThis series is for anyone who took the survey course and wants more.  The survey course is NOT a requirement. If you’re ready to firm up your repertoire of skills working with Neurodivergent clients by learning a new tool you will find nowhere else\, then you’re in the right place! \nCONTINUING EDUCATION WORKSHOP SERIES OBJECTIVES:\n\nDescribe what it means to be “Non-pathologizing\,” including the benefit of the beyond-medical approach\, the power of resonance\, and the strength of the “pivot” in helping clients reach their fullest potential\nDescribe the specific neurodivergent-trauma that impedes agency and compounds anxiety\, depression\, shame\, and trauma responses\nExplain how certain social justice issues apply and can be addressed both within the medical model and in a non-pathologizing way.\nList and describe the ten domains of Neurodivergence\nCreate a self-map using the 10-Domain tool\nIdentify areas and degrees of masking and create treatment plans to address them\, determining approaches of accommodation versus adaptation\nExplore the concept of agency\, including how to build agency in clients\, in order to enhance self-efficacy and promote positive outcomes\nUse a 3-step Framework approach to addressing neurodivergence that will help clients reduce frustration and clarify direction in daily life\nApply new learning to case studies and real-time practice\n\n***PAYMENT OPTIONS\nCascadia Training values quality continuing education that is accessible\, inclusive\, and without barriers to all.
