You will receive your Zoom link/invitation the week of the workshop.\nContinuing Education Credit Hours (NBCC and NASW-WA Approved): 3 CEs – Meets Criteria for Health Equity or Cultural Competence CEs | $95.00\nIn this experiential and interactive continuing education workshop\, we will discuss the nature of implicit bias against people who are gender non-conforming. We will explore why it is important to recognize negative attitudes we might hold toward this group and how to best address hurtful and limiting beliefs that we might initially be unaware of. \nWe will also examine the inequities and disparities experienced by those who are gender non-conforming. This knowledge will help participants understand how to better support and respect their gender-diverse clients. \nWorkshop Objectives:\nParticipants in this workshop will be able to: \n\nUnderstand the definition of implicit bias\nDiscuss how to become aware of our own implicit biases towards people who are gender non-conforming\nIdentify ways in which the gender-diverse community is discriminated against\nPractice ways to combat our implicit biases towards people who are gender non-conforming\nExplore ways to provide a more welcoming clinical environment to the gender diverse community\n\nREGISTER HERE\n  \n
