SUMMARY:💲SPECIAL SALE!💲 Beyond Answers: Strengthening Our Client’s Inner Compass through Ancient Runes 🆕
DESCRIPTION:💲Last-Minute Deal! $50 Off!💲\nBrand-New!\nLaw & Ethics\, Health Equity\, and Cultural Competence CEs!\nBeyond Answers: Strengthening Our Client’s Inner Compass through Ancient Runes\nPresented by: Kylani St. Clair\, LMHC\, CCTP\, RYT\nWhen: Friday\, October 23rd\, 2026 | 10:00 am – 1:00 pm Pacific Time\nWhere: Live on Zoom. You will receive your Zoom link/invitation the week of the workshop.\nContinuing Education Credit Hours (NBCC and NASW-WA Approved): 3 CEs -counts as Law & Ethics\, Health Equity\, or Cultural Competence | $99.00 NOW ONLY $49.00!\nContinuing Education Workshop Description:\nAmbivalence and uncertainty are common sources of distress for many clients\, who often look to therapists for answers\, reassurance\, and confirmation that they are making the “right” decision. Although psychotherapy cannot eliminate life’s ambiguities\, it can help clients cultivate something even more enduring: an inner compass rooted in self-trust\, personal values\, and meaningful reflection. \nThis experiential continuing education workshop introduces clinicians to the Elder Futhark rune system as an ancient symbolic framework for facilitating deeper therapeutic reflection and meaningful dialogue. Rather than using runes for prediction or divination\, participants will learn to incorporate their symbolism into psychotherapy as a client-centered tool for cultivating intuition\, exploring values\, constructing meaning\, and strengthening clients’ capacity to navigate uncertainty. Throughout the training\, runes are presented as one historical symbolic tradition that can support reflection\, not as a system of universal truth or prescribed belief. \nParticipants will experience the same reflective exercises they may later facilitate with clients\, gaining firsthand insight into the therapeutic process before integrating these interventions into clinical practice. Clinicians will learn practical strategies for incorporating rune symbolism into treatment while maintaining ethical practice\, cultural humility\, and respect for each client’s worldview. \nParticipants will leave with practical interventions they can adapt to a variety of clinical populations\, along with a deeper understanding of how symbolic facilitation can foster self-discovery\, meaning-making\, and confidence in the face of life’s uncertainties. The foundations of Jungian psychotherapy were built with instruments like mythology\, dreams\, archetypal symbols\, and ancient hieroglyphs. Jung regarded runes as a vital tool in “shaping one’s identity and life’s narrative\,” with a unique ability to connect our unconscious with our conscious (Samuels\, 1986; Stein\, 2021). \nRather than helping clients search for certainty\, clinicians will learn to foster greater self-trust\, reflection\, and confidence in navigating life’s inevitable ambiguities—empowering clients to access the wisdom they already possess. Jung highlighted the therapist’s role in psychotherapy as supporting patients in their own journey of “seeking deeper self=understanding” rather than providing simplistic yes-or-no answers. \nContinuing Education Workshop Objectives\n\nDescribe the historical origins\, cultural context\, and traditional use of the Elder Futhark rune system.\nDifferentiate the therapeutic use of runes from divination practices while maintaining appropriate ethical boundaries and scope of practice.\nExplain how rune symbolism can facilitate intuition\, values exploration\, meaning-making\, and clients’ ability to navigate uncertainty.\nObserve therapeutic techniques for incorporating runes into psychotherapy to facilitate reflection\, insight\, and meaningful dialogue.\nApply ethical principles\, cultural humility\, and health equity considerations when introducing rune-based interventions.\nDevelop practical strategies for incorporating rune-based interventions into treatment while honoring client autonomy\, informed consent\, and individual worldviews.\n\nREGISTER HERE\n  \n

SUMMARY:🆕BRAND-NEW! Tarot Card Imagery and Parts Work: Creative Interventions for Psychotherapy 🆕
DESCRIPTION:🆕Brand-New!🆕\nTarot Card Imagery and Parts Work: Creative Interventions for Psychotherapy\nPresented by: Dreya Blume\, LCSW\nWhen: Wednesday\, November 4th\, 2026 | 9:00 am – 12:00 pm Pacific Time\nWhere: Live on Zoom. You will receive your Zoom link/invitation the week of the workshop.\nContinuing Education Credit Hours (NBCC and NASW-WA Approved): 3 CEs | $90.00\nContinuing Education Workshop Description:\nParts work offers clinicians a powerful framework for helping clients understand the different internal states\, roles\, and protective strategies that shape their emotional lives. Tarot cards\, with their rich visual imagery\, archetypal themes\, characters\, and symbolic landscapes\, can provide a creative way to make these internal experiences more visible and accessible. Rather than using tarot for prediction or divination\, therapists can invite clients to engage with the cards as projective and expressive images through which they can identify\, externalize\, and develop greater curiosity toward different parts of themselves. \nThis experiential continuing education workshop introduces practical ways to integrate tarot card imagery into parts-oriented psychotherapy. Participants will explore interventions for identifying and representing parts\, understanding the intentions and fears of protective parts\, facilitating dialogue between conflicting parts\, accessing internal resources\, and supporting greater cooperation and integration within the client’s internal system. Attention will also be given to trauma-informed pacing\, client autonomy\, cultural and spiritual sensitivity\, and ethical considerations when incorporating tarot imagery into clinical practice. \nNo previous experience with tarot or parts work is required. \nContinuing Education Workshop Objectives:\nUpon completion of this training\, participants will be able to: \n\nDescribe at least three ways tarot card imagery can facilitate the identification\, externalization\, and exploration of parts within psychotherapy.\nApply at least three tarot-based interventions for exploring protective roles\, internal conflicts\, unmet needs\, and internal resources within a parts-work framework.\nIdentify at least three clinical and ethical considerations for integrating tarot card imagery into parts-oriented psychotherapy\, including client consent\, cultural and spiritual sensitivity\, and trauma-informed pacing.\n\nREGISTER HERE\n  \n  \n

SUMMARY:Reaching the Inner Child: Using Brain-based Internal Family Systems Therapy to Treat Trauma and Personality Disorders
DESCRIPTION:Reaching the Inner Child: Using Integrated\, Brain-based Internal Family Systems Therapy to Treat Trauma and Personality Disorders\nPresented by: Hannah Smith\, MA\, LMHC\, CGP\nWhen: Thursday\, November 5th\, 2026 | 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM\n\nWhere: Live on Zoom. You will receive your Zoom link/invitation the week of the workshop.\nContinuing Education Credit Hours (NBCC and NASW-WA Approved): 6 CEs | $190.00 \nContinuing Education Workshop Description:\nModern neuroscience has provided us with valuable and targeted information to help in understanding and healing the traumatized brain\, including those with severe developmental trauma who later end up with “personality disorder” diagnoses. \nUnfortunately\, much of this valuable information remains abstract and out of reach to those doing the actual work of trauma treatment. \nThis workshop will address these issues by combining insights from neuroscience with an evidence-based treatment approach known as Internal Family Systems. \nInternal Family Systems is a treatment modality created in the 1980s by Dr. Richard C. Schwartz. Trained as a couples and family therapist\, Dr. Schwartz realized the same dynamics he found in family systems also presented within individuals. His work reveals the brain’s natural ability to create different parts\, known as Managers\, Firefighters\, and Exiles\, to protect the core\, undamaged self. His theory is non-pathologizing\, allowing us to see “diagnoses” as “strategies” and recognizing the protective nature of the “Internal Family.” Using modern brain science and these well-established concepts\, we can isolate and treat the “Inner Child” – those parts that carry traumatic memory – more effectively. \nIn this dynamic\, experiential session\, you will learn the underlying framework of Internal Family Systems from both traditional and neuroscience-informed perspectives\, allowing for greater understanding of yourself and your client and providing higher precision in therapeutic work. By applying narrative and imagery-based techniques in real time\, you will incorporate what is known about brain processing into your work\, enabling you to reach “the Inner Child” more efficiently and safely. Attendees will grow in their practical understanding and application of neuroscience to help reduce shame\, increase client engagement\, improve outcomes\, and – as an added bonus – reduce clinician burnout! \nCONTINUING EDUCATION WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES: \n• Consider Internal Family Systems (IFS) structure and techniques from both traditional and neuroscience-informed perspectives\n• Apply a non-pathologizing treatment model to reduce shame and increase client ability to grow and change.\n• Use “Externalization of Parts” and other somatic\, imagery- and analogy-based techniques to develop the concept of the “Inner Child” to promote experiences that create new neural connections that lead to lasting change and healing\n• Learn techniques to teach internal communication and self-compassion and define and measure success in more effective ways\n• Communicate modern neuroscience principles of neuroplasticity\, mentalization\, and somatic responding as they relate to IFS and the “Inner Child” in a user-friendly manner\n• Apply newly learned skills in real-time to build competency and confidence as a practitioner \nREGISTER HERE\n  \n  \n

SUMMARY:Menopause and Mental Health: Navigating the Challenges from Perimenopause to Post-Menopause
DESCRIPTION:Meets Health Equity or Cultural Competence Continuing Education Requirements!\nMenopause and Mental Health: Navigating the Challenges from Perimenopause to Post-Menopause\nPresented by Rebecca Bloom\, LMHC (she/her)\nWhen: Friday\, November 6th\, 2026 | 9:00 am – 4:30 pm Pacific Time\nWhere: Live in-person at the Shoreline Center. \nContinuing Education Credit Hours: 6 CEs (meets criteria for Health Equity or Cultural Competence CEs) | Cost: $199.00\nThe experience of pre-menopause/perimenopause\, menopause\, and post-menopause is rarely talked about\, but thousands of people are diagnosed daily with menopause-related challenges. \nIt shows up in clinical settings in many ways: if someone has been medically induced and is having many symptoms at once; if the whole family system is under stress because “now Mom is mad all the time;” if a client cannot get a medical doctor to address that all her symptoms are connected; or a client feels sex is just “too painful now” and plans never to have sex again. \nAs clinicians who may be in perimenopause\, menopause\, or post-menopause ourselves\, do not understand our own bodies anymore and may find our work life more difficult than ever. \nYou may have a 48-year-old female client referred by a medical doctor. This new client has no history of depression\, but suddenly\, she cannot get out of bed\, she cannot track her thoughts\, and her blood pressure is through the roof. In this workshop\, you will learn that these are all symptoms of perimenopause or menopause. \nIn this workshop\, you will gain an in-depth knowledge of the 37 most common symptoms of perimenopause and menopause that affect us physically\, mentally\, emotionally\, cognitively\, and spiritually. \nIn addition\, you will learn how to talk with your clients about these symptoms and how to help them advocate outside the walls of your office for themselves and the medical care they need. We will also look at how biases and inequalities surrounding race and gender (collectively\, we’ll say women\, but we mean that in a very inclusive way to include those who identify as a woman\, those who are assigned female at birth (AFAB) but are transgender or non-binary but still have female reproductive organs and hormones)\, LGBTQIA+\, socio-economic status\, and more impact whether someone receives accessible\, affordable\, adequate\, and effective health care. \nWe will also explore how the lack of adequate medical care for girls\, women\, and those AFAB continues throughout their lifespan and greatly impacts all aspects of their lives. This lack of adequate\, affirming medical attention leads to this natural hormonal experience negatively impacting “everything” in our lives. \nThe destabilization and loss process in menopause will be explored from various angles. What does it mean to no longer be of “child-bearing age”? Is that transition cause for celebration? Is it a tremendous loss? What does it currently mean to be a “crone”? We will explore how this role has changed over time and in various cultures. \nThe latest neuroscience research suggests that the loss of estrogen in the brain has major impacts on many bodily systems. What does it mean to go on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)? Some current research suggests that HRT is safe for up to ten years. We will examine why this protocol changed and what it means for our clients and ourselves. \nWe will also explore natural options for care and support during the various phases of menopause. “Have your fans at the ready!” Let’s spend the day talking about menopause and learning about what impacts our receiving affirming\, effective medical care\, including the fact that the average medical doctor receives only one hour– in TOTAL—of formal training on menopause. You will leave this workshop knowing much more than when you arrived\, knowledge that will help your clients and you on your journey. \nObjectives:\n\nLearn the three stages of menopause.\nLearn the 37 most common symptoms of menopause.\nAddress how to help clients feel more stable in this process.\nLearn how culture impacts on menopause.\nAddress the experience of gender and gender bias across the lifespan.\nDestigmatize menopause and encourage authentic\, effective discussions.\n\nREGISTER HERE\n  \n

To that end\, you’ll be practicing a wide variety of practical skills that you can immediately begin using with clients. \nSince this will be a hands-on experience\, please have a notebook handy. We will also use the presenter’s workbook\, “A Life of Meaning and Purpose: An Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Guided Journal for Exploring Beliefs and Connecting with Values\,” which will be provided to each participant. \nContinuing Education Workshop Objectives:\n\nUnderstand the role of value identification in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)\nUnderstand how limiting beliefs influence the elicitation and execution of value-directed behavior\nIdentify the components of core values\, in terms of their definition and use in ACT\nDiscuss how to best assist clients in accessing core values\nLearn a variety of ways to teach clients how to elicit core values\nPractice ways to explore core values\nExplore the relationship between core values and ACT’s strategy of “committed action”\n\nREGISTER HERE\n  \n  \n

You will receive your Zoom link/invitation the week of the workshop.\nContinuing Education Credit Hours (NBCC and NASW-WA Approved): 6 CEs Meets Criteria for Health Equity or Cultural Competence CEs | $199.00\nContinuing Education Workshop Description:\nWhether they are transgender\, non-binary\, two-spirit\, gender fluid\, or agender\, those in our gender-diverse communities need clinicians who understand the issues they are facing\, as well as how to best meet their needs. \nDreya\, a transgender woman\, has been a gender therapist since 2004 and is thrilled to share her knowledge with you during this dynamic and engaging continuing education workshop. \nWe will review gender-affirming terminology and explore the wide variety of identities within the gender-diverse community. You will learn how to provide gender-affirming care for clients of different ages (children\, teens\, and adults)\, starting with what to include on intake forms and how to create a welcoming office atmosphere. \nYou will also become familiar with themes that typically arise in session\, such as coming out to oneself\, family\, friends\, and coworkers; navigating social and medical transition; managing stress\, microaggressions\, discrimination\, and bias; and dealing with grief and loss (both on the part of the client as well as family members); common mental health issues associated with gender diversity\, such as depression\, anxiety\, suicidality\, PTSD\, and eating disorders; intersectionality; the gatekeeping dilemma; and more. \nDreya will also discuss how to write referral letters for clients (both adults and minors) seeking gender-affirming medical care. We will explore the criteria for “gender dysphoria\,” the role of WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health) guidelines in the letter-writing process\, and how to conduct a “gender consultation” for this purpose. \nFinally\, we will examine client transference and clinician countertransference\, as each can impact the therapeutic relationship. The good news is that by exploring gender diversity and the challenges faced by gender-nonconforming individuals more deeply\, clinicians can make a meaningful difference in the lives of their clients and families. \nContinuing Education Workshop Objectives:\n\nIdentify a wide range of identities among people who are gender-nonconforming.\nLearn the micro and macro challenges that impact the mental health of gender-nonconforming individuals.\nBecome familiar with how to best provide affirming care to gender-diverse individuals.\nDiscuss how to conduct a gender consultation for the purpose of writing a referral letter for gender-affirming medical care.\nUnderstand the transition timeline of a person navigating their gender journey.\nExplore how to best support the families of gender-diverse individuals.\nBecome familiar with local and national resources for gender-diverse individuals.\n\nREGISTER HERE\n  \n  \n

SUMMARY:🆕BRAND-NEW! Parentification 🆕
DESCRIPTION:🆕Brand-New!🆕\nParentification\nPresented by: Dreya Blume\, LCSW\nWhen: Monday\, December 14th\, 2026 | 9:00 am – 12:00 pm Pacific Time\nWhere: Live on Zoom. You will receive your Zoom link/invitation the week of the workshop.\nContinuing Education Credit Hours (NBCC and NASW-WA Approved): 3 CEs | $90.00\nContinuing Education Workshop Description:\nParentification is a relational dynamic in which a child is placed into developmentally inappropriate roles of emotional or practical caregiving within the family system. While often invisible or normalized within families\, this role reversal can shape identity\, attachment patterns\, boundaries\, and self-worth well into adulthood. \nThis continuing education workshop introduces clinicians to the concept of parentification from developmental\, relational\, and trauma-informed perspectives\, exploring both instrumental parentification (taking on adult tasks) and emotional parentification (serving as a confidant\, mediator\, or regulator for caregivers). \nParticipants will examine the long-term psychological impacts of these early role reversals\, including links to anxiety\, depression\, relational over-functioning\, and identity diffusion. Clinicians will learn practical therapeutic strategies for helping clients identify internalized responsibility patterns\, develop healthier boundaries\, grieve unmet childhood needs\, and cultivate a more balanced sense of self. \nThrough case examples\, reflective exercises\, and clinical discussion\, participants will gain tools to recognize parentification dynamics in therapy and support clients in reclaiming autonomy\, self-compassion\, and relational flexibility. \nContinuing Education Workshop Objectives:\n\nDefine parentification and distinguish between instrumental and emotional forms of role reversal within family systems.\nIdentify common psychological and relational impacts of childhood parentification\, including patterns related to boundaries\, responsibility\, attachment\, and identity development.\nAssess for signs of parentification in clinical practice\, including common presenting concerns and therapeutic themes associated with this developmental experience.\nApply trauma-informed therapeutic strategies to help clients process parentification experiences\, establish healthier boundaries\, and develop greater self-compassion and autonomy.\n\nREGISTER HERE\n  \n  \n
