However\, incorporating body-based interventions raises important ethical questions related to professional boundaries\, informed consent\, cultural sensitivity\, and the scope of practice. \nThis continuing education workshop explores the ethical use of somatic approaches within psychotherapy\, helping clinicians thoughtfully integrate body-oriented techniques while remaining aligned with professional standards of care. Together\, we will examine common ethical dilemmas that arise when working with breath\, movement\, grounding exercises\, and other somatic practices\, particularly regarding touch\, power dynamics\, trauma sensitivity\, and client autonomy. \nThe workshop will provide practical guidance for obtaining meaningful informed consent\, documenting somatic interventions\, and recognizing when referrals or additional training are necessary.
